Mike Disfarmer Photographs, 1920s-1950s.

"Original black-and-white prints of people, including portraits of children, adults, and, whole families. Most are approximately 3 1/2 X 5"; one print has been cut apart leaving the image of only one man. All but one are mounted on 8 1/2 X 11" paper, which ceritifies that each is an "ORIGINAL DISFARMER PHOTOGRAPH"; the one unmounted print is a 5 X 7" enlargement of a child.

Disfarmer was the local photographer in Heber Springs, Arkansas (pop. 3,800) from 1915 until he died in 1959.
